Nicole Jefferson, LMT

Licensed Massage Therapist

Nicole’s philosophy as a massage therapist is to help others come into deeper understanding and relationship with their body and its mechanics. She offers massage as a way to live, work, and move through life more comfortably and productively. This philosophy is informed and reinforced not only through Nicole’s continuing education in Medical Massage Training, but also through the completion of a B.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland, College Park.

In addition to cultivating body knowledge and awareness in her clients, Nicole shares her passion as a teaching assistant at the Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage in Falls Church, Virginia, where she trained as a massage therapist. She is a key resource for new students and aspiring therapists as they develop their understanding of the body and their bodywork skills. Nicole also has nearly ten years of competitive gymnastics experience and helps future athletes explore and challenge their physical and mental abilities as a gymnastics teacher at Above the Barre VA.

In her spare time, Nicole is dedicated to developing and realizing her own body’s potential. Among other races, she has completed the Marine Corps Marathon and the Baltimore Marathon. She is working toward developing her massage therapy skills in oncology massage so that she may donate time and services to those who are bravely holding the fight against cancer.

Nicole is a professional member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.
